What is INTALENT?
INTALENT is the competition that recognizes technologically based innovative talent to promote the development of the Orange Economy throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
This initiative is looking to showcase projects with the potential to generate wealth and contribute to improving the lives of Latin Americans and Caribbeans through their achievements and intellectual property. We are particularly interested in ventures which generate an impact on commerce and regional integration by deepening trade relations between the various markets in the region.
INTALENT is organized by INTAL (the Institute for the Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean), a division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) that whose mission is to promote the integration of the countries in this region. INTAL will face this challenge with the knowledge and technological specialization of the publication MIT Technology Review, Spanish Edition.
FIRST PRIZE: $ 10,000 and a trip to EmTech 2016Tomás Uribe - Colombia Stereotheque
Stereotheque is a multimedia platform to explore music and learn about the history, influences, production, along with new artists. Through geolocation, preferences and proximity, as well as mere serendipity, Stereotheque helps discover music scenes and lets you compare the evolution of music from different eras and places.
The Stereotheque team is also formed by other three colombians, Julian Duque, Guillermo Arenas y Kristian Diaz.
SECOND PRIZE: A TRIP TO DEMAND SOLUTIONS 2016Emanuel Vilte - Argentina Linguoo
Linguoo is a platform for online audio articles in English and Spanish, that will soon be available in Chinese and German as well. With the content of major digital media, Linguoo houses over 8,500 articles recorded by 160 storytellers from all around the world, it has been listened to in over 90 countries by 30,000 registered users.

GRAN MERCADO is a virtual platform that puts small farmers and grocers in direct contact with consumers, all under the principles of fair trade.
TRADR is a collaborative economy network that promotes entrepreneurship among women by connecting designers, artisans and artists through geolocation and artificial intelligence.
BIO 360º is a capsule system which carries green capsules that optimizes water use and a modular assembly that allows for the creation of gardens and green roofs in various types of spaces.
